I don’t know what to post on my Social pages?

Following on from our earlier blogs on social media, we thought we’d follow up with some content ideas, as this seems to be the part that most MLM business owners struggle with!

Creating content is actually very easy. You just have to think, what do I like to see? And if you’re aiming your content towards people like you, this should work perfectly.

Our advice is to try and add some fun to your social media; you should have at least three times as many informative/fun posts as sales related posts. This keeps the viewer entertained while not boring them with daily sales updates.

So number one on our list is facts/stats. This is a great way to have your users engage with your content. Share some fascinating details about the MLM industry or your MLM company that you feel your audience would love! An example of these types of posts could be “did you know there are more than 100 million people around the world running network marketing businesses?”. Just anything related to your audience/industry that might make the viewer go, “hmm interesting”.

Another must-have is trending topics. You must be posting content related to the most recent global trending topics. An example of this could be the recent heat wave in the UK and the trending hashtag, ‘furnacefriday’. A simple post with this hashtag and you automatically go into the list of posts with this viral hashtag associated too. This opens your post/page up to thousands and thousands of potential audience.

Number three on this suggestion list is motivational quotes that are relevant to your industry. You run a MLM business, so there’s no point posting about financial quotes; keep it relevant. However, these posts seem to go down very well, normally generating great engagement. Quotes can become very saturated as most people will have probably seen it before, so try and find a hidden gem, it doesn’t even need to be from an A-list celebrity, if the quotes got value, post it! Consider re-creating the quote in a branded image, so it ties it back to you and your brand.

Number four; feedback/testimonials. Ask a team member or customer to give you some feedback and then post it! It’s a great way to build up trust with your social media following. They’re more likely to purchase from you or consider joining your team if they can see feedback from previous satisfied customers or hear other success stories.

Number five; sales! I know we said earlier not to bombard your audience with sales updates, but if you’re posting about the other four content ideas on a regular basis, it’s okay to slip in the occasional offer/product update. You can even run sales pitches in creative and engaging ways by doing competitions or giveaways. You can drive the traffic to your site where they meet the criteria to enter, and once they’ve done whatever they need too, they’re left on your site to just roam around freely!

Hopefully, you’ve enjoyed these little Social Media post idea’s, it can seem very daunting at times, but remember, consistency is key!

I can’t build rapport with Prospects!

If you’re an MLM business owner then recruiting is going to be a pretty major part of your job. However, many people struggle to ever build up the rapport with their prospects that they really need. This can be down to many different variables; people being more awkward, different personality types, different hobbies etc. But there are tips on how to help the rapport building when prospecting.

Tip number one; open questions. Have you ever have a conversation with someone and they’ve just given you one-word answers? Think back to it now, did the questions you were asking only require a yes or no? Most likely! Too many people keep conversations shorter and rapport on hold by asking simple yes or no questions. To build up better report, reword your questions so the individual can actually put some personality into the answer. It also requires them to elaborate, and that gets the conversation going! This is also brilliant advice for any sales calls!

Tip number two; listen & care! So many times people are having conversations just to get a specific piece of information, they don’t listen to the other topic of discussion, and they certainly don’t care! This comes across as plain rude! If you’re speaking to a prospect and they’re telling you about their current working situation or any other piece of personal information, listen to them carefully and care about what they’re saying! This will help massively with rapport building, as many times, people just want someone to vent to.

Tip number three; elaborate. This follows on from the two previous tips. If you’re listening and actually caring about what the individual is saying, follow up one of their one-liners with an open question. For example, if someone is saying how much they hated their last job, don’t just say most people do, follow it up with something like “what was it in particular that you didn’t enjoy?” This will make them feel like you’re listening to them and show them that you care.

Tip number four; find common ground. Try and find something you both have in common, ideally before you first make contact, but if not, the sooner, the better. This is a brilliant way to get the conversation going in your favour. An example of this is calling one of your prospects who you can see from Facebook loves mountain biking, you may not, but you could have a quick Google search and find one topic to talk about for a few minutes relating to that. This will be worth its weight in rapport.

Hopefully, you have learnt some helpful rapport building tips and strategies! Please leave any comments/feedback in the comments sections below.

The MUST know hacks to social media for MLM Leaders!

Following up from a blog we posted a few weeks ago about how social media can help your MLM business, this blog will be all about how to really maximise your MLM business’ social media’s potential with a few hints and tips.

First of all, with many different social media influencers exploding on social media right now, we’d highly recommend following them so you can see their content and take inspiration from it. A few people to name a Gary V, Tony Robbins, Richard Branson, Grant Cardone, Eric Worre & Oprah Winfrey. This is only a very, very small list, but they’re all entrepreneurs/business owners who are putting a large emphasis on growing their online presence and social media followings.

So once you’ve started following these entrepreneurial influencers, you can start looking at their content and deciding what you like and what you don’t like. Start to look for patterns and themes within their content, and look at what posts/themes are getting the most attention. Next, you must come up with a social media strategy, decide what to post on which day and plan your content into themes. This way, your social media followers know what to expect from your posts, which gives them a reason to follow you.

Once you’ve done these two steps, you should start to get ideas as to what to post and the messages you’d like to get across to your target audience. The next thing to do is to start creating content, but here is where our first tip comes to life; social media content gets higher engagement if there’s an image or video, so whenever possible, try and include an image or video. You can create simple graphics using Canva, a free online tool. If you have no time, then you can download images from Shutterstock. If you still have no time, then you can outsource an image/video creation on sites such as Fiverr or Upwork.

We also recommend that you post at least once a day. An easy way to stay organised is to use a tool called Hootsuite. You can connect all your social media accounts to it and then mass upload posts and select the date/time you would like them to be posted live. It allows you to create lots of content and schedule it on a day that you may have more free time; Sunday maybe?

Now we can get into the tips and tricks for fast-tracking your social media growth. The number one thing you need to remember is that engagement is king. The higher the engagement, the better; Facebook and Instagram’s algorithms will recognise this and show your posts/content to more people. Try to get as many likes, comments and shares as possible on every post, and remember, quality over quantity, but still try to get one post out a day. Another thing is that most social media algorithms measure how long a viewer has stayed on someone’s content, so try and find the balance between long and engaging content, without boring the reader of course.

Another social media hack is to post early in the day, between 8am & 9am, as this is when most people are travelling to work. It also means that your post has all day to generate engagement, which could potentially increase its lifespan.

So those are the three tips for today, Quality over quantity (use images and videos), Post every day & post early in the day. Thank you for reading and please leave any feedback in the comments section below.

How to prospect your way to becoming an MLM Top Earner

There’s no doubt that to have a very successful Network Marketing business you must recruit and recruit well! It’s the easiest way to scale your business and start bringing in the profits that you’ve dreamed of. However, what’s the best way to bring in new prospects? Well keep reading, and you’ll find out.

In Network Marketing, there’s no set criteria for who will become an MLM Top Earner; there’s no degree or qualification that gives you a guarantee. Success comes down to the attitude and work ethic of you and your team members. You want team members are coachable and willing to put in the hard work.

So how do you reach these prospects? There are many different ways. One is to start advertising, this can be in newspapers, magazines, social media, Google Ads, etc… But, for us, we recommend that you use social media as its cost-effective, and has a higher global reach. However, a lot of the MLM Top Earners suggest putting classified ad’s in business magazines, as it’s proved successful for them, so perhaps that’s definitely worth trying too.

Another option is to contact everyone you know and talk them through the business model and what they could potentially be doing to bring in a primary/side income. Soon you could be spending even more time with your loved ones as you start building businesses together and supporting each other, but please be wary that mixing family and business can potentially be a recipe for ultimate happiness, just ask many of the successful MLM couples or families.

If you decide to try ads, the best things to include in your ads will be one-liners that draw in potential prospects attention, such as “Become your own boss” or “Travel the world on your terms”. Anything that makes the viewer interested is great because it increases the chances of them reaching out to you. You should also include a clear call-to-action (CTA) in every ad, such as “Call this number to discuss further” or “visit this site for more details”, this gives them clear instructions and makes the next steps a lot clearer.

Another strategy is one we’ve covered in previous blog posts, which is to create social media accounts, and a blog, and start posting content about what you do and how you can help people. Eventually, people will begin to notice and reach out to you. This is a great way to get organic leads that aren’t costing you money like ads will. Therefore, this is a strategy that everybody should be employing.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog, If you have any comments/feedback, please leave them in the comments section below.

Are you a Mumtrepreneur in the making?

So, what exactly is a Mumtrepreneur? A Mumtrepreneur is a mum who sets up and runs her own business while caring for her children. So basically, a Mumtrepreneur is a modern day hero, combining two of the most challenging jobs into one, and becoming a certified winner.

So what businesses do most Mumtrepreneurs tend to set up? Well, there’s no right or wrong answer. However, a lot of Mumtrepreneurs do tend to go into Network Marketing. This is because of the freedom and flexibility that it gives you as a business model. Some other businesses that are very popular are creating a blog, creating a personal brand & starting a freelance business for the industry that they worked in before giving birth.

So you may be thinking, okay, this all sounds great, but how can I actually get started and build my own business when my time is so limited.? Well, it’s actually a lot easier than you might imagine. First of all, you need to select the business model that you’d like to work with. Let’s use Network marketing as an example. Once you’ve registered your business alongside your chosen multi-level marketing (MLM) company, you can download the Pamtree app, and then you have all the resources/tools that you need to grow your business, right at your fingertips 24hrs a day!

Once you’ve got the Pamtree app, you can start managing all your products to sell, contacts to prospect and tasks to complete, in all from one simple app, which can be accessed on your computer, tablet or phone. As your MLM business grows, you’ll start to develop a team, which means a proportion of your time will now be spent supporting them, but do not fear, Pamtree is here! Pamtree also allows you to manage your team members and your resources, so training your team just got super simple! When you’re creating training and support contact for your team, we personally recommend creating video tutorials as they’re generally more engaging and will get your team more engaged.

What you need to do once everything’s set up is start marketing your new business. Start by speaking with everyone you know, either on the phone or by messaging them. Pamtree’s app has unique link tracking built right in so you can send messages to all your prospects and get notified when they engage with your messages so you can follow-up with them individually, saving hours on pointless follow-ups. Many different online articles recommend putting ads into business magazines. However, this could be expensive so you could try running ads on various social media platforms, as they’ll also reach a higher number of prospects. But be careful when you start paying for advertising and ensure you have received the appropriate training first or you could waste a lot of money. Make sure that you set up your own website and have the ads link back to it, from there you should capture the prospects’ details and schedule a call to discuss the business opportunity with them.

After all, this is done you should be well and truly on your way to becoming a full-time Mumtrepreneur! But remember, your network marketing business should be focusing on product/service sales as well as recruitment, some business owners get too sucked into the recruitment and start to neglect the sales aspect! Find the perfect balance and your Network Marketing business will start thriving in no time.

Thank you for reading this article, we hope you enjoyed it! Please leave any feedback/new blog ideas in the comment section down below.

You Can Turn Your Dreams into a Reality

One of the hottest topics at the moment is the idea of being able to work from anywhere. Many people see this as just quite simply, a fantasy, and something that they could never actually achieve. This is in fact, incorrect. Nowadays, there are lots of career choices that no longer require a physical office, just merely a laptop and an Internet connection. This shift in working conditions can mainly be attributed to the change from employees to freelancers. Therefore, individuals are taking charge of who they want to work for and how they manage their work.

An example of this type of lifestyle is our team here at Pamtree, recently Pamtree has been on tour to Singapore, Bali and Bulgaria! Now as you’re probably thinking there are a lot of different jobs that allow you to work from your laptop, so that’s nothing too special, which we would agree with to a certain extent. However, Pamtree takes this one step further as you can generally complete all your necessary tasks from your mobile. This makes the working while travelling lifestyle even easier. No longer do you need to carry your heavy laptop around to enable yourself to work effectively; being cloud-based also means your business is backed up so really can work from anywhere, on any device.

The thing that really excites me about the Pamtree app is that you can work offline, and once you get Internet connection it updates automatically. This saves you from creating countless notes on your phone and then having to enter them manually once you regain Internet connection. Quite simply, it gave a new meaning to the term “Flexible working”.

You may now be asking, is this actually a reality? The answer is yes, Network marketing is a business model that offers incredible flexibility. Partner that with Pamtree and that’s a match made in heaven, you could spend your days travelling Asia, checking in on your business from a beach in Thailand. Not your thing? You could check some messages and orders from the top of a mountain in New Zealand (given you have Wifi or 4G!).

Please let us know your thoughts and opinions on the topic, in the comments section below.

How Social Media that transform your Multi-level marketing business

I imagine most of you have a social media account or have at least heard of Facebook, Twitter, etc. Well, there’s a reason they caught on like wildfire; anyone can post their thoughts for the whole world to see, and it didn’t take long for businesses to captivate on this.

This is where Network Marketing comes into it, you can directly contact your audience or reach them via a post. It allows you to build a loyal audience, develop a brand and easily gets testimonials for your business.

First of all, you should know, you have two different target groups; those who know of you/your industry & those who don’t. This means your content will be covering the whole spectrum and your chances of engagement will increase drastically. To do this, you should create content that meets the needs of both those groups. However, you should concentrate most of your social media efforts on the group that knows of you or your industry. Focusing your social activity in this area will earn you higher engagement rates as they have more interest in your posts as they want to understand your business.

Secondly, you should develop a social media strategy so your content can be consistent. Perhaps on Mondays, you post about motivation, on Wednesday you post advice and on Fridays you post facts. The key to social media is to stay consistent. It takes time to build a following and even longer for that following to start engaging. And don’t forget to look out for trends on social media, like ‘Motivational Mondays’ or ‘Throwback Thursdays’. Piggybacking on popular trends can really help you grow your followings.

Thirdly, you should start a blog. Starting a blog is an excellent way to fast track your online presence because you can direct your social media followers to your blog/website. It also means that you own this traffic and are in full control of the content displayed. It also allows you to add data capture elements; perhaps capture a prospect’s email and contact number so you can follow up with them?

So once you’ve built your following and have visitors to your blog/website, this is where you can start engaging with them on a one-to-one basis, offering them help/advice on your products or services, or you can even begin prospecting with anyone who seems keen.

You must take full advantage of the visitors you receive because they are sharing expressed interest. Something you could do is film a short introduction video of yourself explaining what it is you do. Show them how you can help them and what they could gain from joining your Network marketing business, you could even ask your team to film short testimonial videos and put those in for added validity. The whole idea of using social media for businesses is to build an audience and then get that audience to a place online where you can control what happens, and not face any social media companies rules/algorithm changes.

Hopefully, these tips have helped. If you have any questions, please leave them below in the comments section. Also, please feel free to share any ideas for future blogs, as we love to hear your feedback.

Growth hacking: our top tips for massive expansion!

When it comes to Network Marketing, many factors can influence you and your team’s success. From our experience in the industry, these top tips will help take your MLM business to the next level! Grab your notepad and pen and take note!

First, once you or your team members get a new recruit, put them through training straight away. Try and keep your training the same for everyone, as this will show what elements work and what’s missing or needs to be improved. By training a new recruit straight away, they’ll have a better understanding of the industry and how to approach it, plus it will require commitment on their part so that hours of your valuable assistance are not misdirected.

Next, once you’ve put them through training, you must teach them how to teach! This is really important. In fact, it’s the key to building a successful network marketing business! If you don’t do this, you’ll have your teams’ new recruits asking you questions 24/7, which is very time-consuming and will hold you back when you’re trying to expand. Teach new recruits how to teach their team members after they complete their training and this will save you countless hours and really help your business expand!

With your team members equipped to be trainers, next get yourself into the position where your whole business can function without you. I know, big shock! This means you must give as much autonomy to all your team leaders and team members as possible. Maybe put in place a hierarchical structure so that everyone can see who to go to with their questions, depending on importance. This is a huge growth hacking secret, allowing you to concentrate on growing the business and expanding, rather than handling low-level queries that won’t bring in new business.

Finally, and being blunt, give your valuable time only to those team members who actually follow through on their ideas, not to individuals who have a new idea every day but never make it happen. You could prepare a few scripts for new recruits to try out so that you can then help the team members who actually come back to you with results, or at least those who can demonstrate they’ve tried. Even if the results are negative it shows that they’re motivated and you can always simply change the script and alter the approach slightly to give it a better chance of working. You must let new recruits know that it’s about trial and error: if something’s not working try changing it slightly. Still not working? Then contact someone with experience who handles these types of queries (referring back to the hierarchical ladder).

Try out these tips with your team and let us know how they work out! Also, please comment below on anything you think we’ve left out!

Exactly What MLM Pro’s Say in their First Prospecting Messages

When it comes to prospecting, there are things best to say and things avoid. In this article, we’re focusing on the things you need to cover if you want your prospecting messages to get results.

A variety of approaches work, though these depend on the type of person you are prospecting and what they will engage with. You know your prospects best, so you can decide what works best for them, but here are some of the proven approaches.

THE DIRECT APPROACH

The direct approach is to ask your prospect directly if they would like to take a look at the opportunity, for whatever reason you think could be of interest to them – increased income, the opportunity to travel, having more time with the family, and so on…

Here are some of the direct questions MLM pro’s use in their prospecting messages:

“I’m not sure whether this will be for you or not, but would you be open to exploring additional income opportunities?”

“Have you ever considered a part-time income to supplement your job?”

“Would you consider a second income stream, if I was to share an opportunity with you?”

“Would you be interested in finding out how you could start a part-time, home-based business and work toward replacing your full-time income?”

“I recently started a new business that’s currently expanding in your area. Would you be interested in taking a look at the opportunity if I was to share it with you?”

THE INDIRECT APPROACH

The indirect approach is to ask your prospect whether they know someone who might be interested in extra income, an improved work/life balance, more family time, etc, with a view to them then suggesting themselves. The indirect approach can be a very effective method, as they won’t feel like they are being sold to as you’re not directly approaching them. Instead, they may see the opportunity for themselves and put their name in the hat for consideration.

Some example of prospect messages for an indirect approach are:

“I’m sure you’re happy with your current job but do you know anyone that might be interested in earning an extra income, working flexibility around their current commitments?”

“I know you enjoy your work but do you know anyone that might be interested in a new career, something with flexibility so they can work around their lives?”

“I’m sure you’re happy with your career but do you know anyone who would benefit from being their own boss and running their own business?”

“I know you’re happy with your current job but do you know anyone who’s looking for a new money-making opportunity?”

Using the questions above will hopefully help you master prospecting in your MLM business. Remember, don’t be afraid to test different messages to see what works best with your prospects.

Good luck with your prospecting! Feel free to share your feedback with us below.

How to Build a Successful Network Marketing Business for the Long Term

You may have heard stories of network marketers having overnight success and, yes, this can and does happen. But it’s a minority, that’s for sure. Whether you’re just getting into network marketing or whether you’ve been in the industry a while, if you’re looking for a long-term solution, here’s how you should set up your network marketing business.

IDENTIFY YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE

Firstly, stop and think about who exactly it is you are looking to target. This will depend on which company you are working alongside and which products or services you are offering. There will be niche groups within the target audience for that industry. For example, if you’re selling health and wellbeing products, you might decide to target beauticians, personal trainers or people focused on weight loss. Each of these audiences will be interested in and attracted to different types of content, so a one-size-fits-all approach will not work as effectively as a targeted approach.

RESEARCH TOPICS OF INTEREST

Once you’ve identified the audiences you want to target, make a list of the types of topics and themes they will be interested in so you can start planning a tailored content strategy to attract them. As you may not be an expert in the area, it’s worth researching online and creating a list of ‘content sources’ – places where you can go and educate yourself to inspire the content you plan to create.

CREATE AND TEST DIFFERENT TYPES OF CONTENT

After you’re clear about your audience and the type of topics they’ll be interested in, as well as quality sources for inspiration, it’s time to look at the types of content you can create to cover the topics. Here’s a list of some of them:

  • Videos
  • Pod casts
  • Interviews
  • FB lives
  • Case studies
  • Infographics
  • Blog articles
  • Social posts
  • eBooks

It’s a good idea to create and test a variety of content types to see what works for your audience. Video is extremely popular at the moment!

COMMIT TO YOUR CONTENT STRATEGY

Once you have your content plan in place, you’re ready to go, but remember, this is a long-term commitment so stick with it, constantly researching your target audience to understand them and their problems and present solutions to them. Commit to this for long enough and you’ll soon build up a steady stream of inbound leads to prospect. The key is to focus on them – how can you help them, not how can they help you.

To be seen as an expert or specialist in any industry, it takes time. So stick with it, learn and improve and you too will become a truly influential professional in your area. Your business will benefit as a result.
