How to take your MLM business Global

One of the most incredible opportunities that you get with network marketing is the opportunity to create a global business straight away, without all the usual costs and challenges that come with it.
Being able to build a business globally is one thing, but how do you prospect internationally? Don’t worry; it’s not as daunting as it seems. Although, you must know it will be tougher and more work than simply building in your local area. Some of the things you’ll need to consider when building an international team are:

  • Time difference – you’ll need to make yourself available to support them and that could be the middle of the night for you, depending on the time difference
  • Language barrier – getting your message across and ensuring you understand each other is one thing, but you’ll also need to make sure the training and prospecting tools are available in their language too.
  • Local support – every new business owner needs support in their country, whether that’s attending local company events or working with other business owners so you’ll need to research the support your company provides in the countries you are targeting so you know your team members will get the support they need to build successful businesses.

So, now you have an idea of the effort involved in building a global team, let’s look at how you can prospecting internationally…

  • Personal contacts – this is probably an obvious one, but your personal contacts are the first place to start. You may be thinking you don’t know anyone abroad, but the chances are you do, you just might not know they now live abroad. People’s lives change for many reasons and we grow older so it’s not uncommon for someone you were friends with at school to end up on the other side of the world as they decided to bring their family up somewhere different. It’s quite easy to find out where people are now with a quick social media check. Or you even try something a bit more interactive and ask the question on social media – for example, post on Facebook something similar to this:

“My friend and I were recently discussing how interesting it must be to live in another country and wondered how long it would take to adapt. Have any of my Facebook friends moved abroad? If so, where and how find you find it?”

Be sure to keep your business out of it, as this stage is all about finding potential prospects who you can start building a relationship with. Only once a relationship is established should you consider inviting them to look at the business opportunity.

  • Join and contribute to online communities in those countries – to make new friends in new countries you’re going to have to socialise, but don’t worry, this can be done online. Join communities where you can meet new people such as Facebook or LinkedIn Groups. You will even find that on Facebook there are lots of groups for specific countries or even cities – try searches for ‘Entrepreneurs COUNTRY’ or ‘Mums COUNTRY’ and you will see there are lots of different types of groups that come up. Have a look through and see which ones you might be able to add value to and build relationships on. Once again, remember, the focus is on building new relationships and not sharing your business opportunity, that comes later.
  • Visit that country – another option is, of course, to visit that country, that could be a holiday or even a temp/perm move there. It all depends on you and what you want from life – if you want to live in another country then why not move there and build it when you’re there? But for many of you that’s probably not the most appealing or viable option so try making friends with locals when you’re on holiday; make the effort to get to know people and start building a relationship then connect with them online and continue investing in the relationship even when you return home. If you do this, a hot tip is to make sure you continue developing your relationship as soon as you return while you’re still at the forefront of their mind.

Now you’ve read these tips, you should be ready to start seriously considering building an international business. If you have any other tips for growing a global MLM business, please share them in the comments below.

The Only Tip You’ll Ever Need To Build Your MLM Business Using Social Media

Social media has changed our lives and brought both opportunities and risks for building a business, especially for network marketing professionals. If you use social media correctly and you can grow a global MLM business from your living room. But if you use it the wrong way and you’ll end up spamming everyone you know and become “that guy” (or girl) and most likely give up and blame the industry for your lack of success.

So, what do we mean but using it right or wrong? Let’s start with how NOT to use social media, as this is one of the biggest issues the industry has at the moment.

Using social media in the wrong way gives the whole industry a bad reputation. This is often due to people starting their businesses and posting everything all over their friends’ Facebook feeds and inviting everyone they know to take a look at the “amazing opportunity” they have without ever considering who they are talking to and how it might be good for them. This happens due to lack of understanding how to use social media – and maybe because bad behaviours are being taught from uplines. Marry that with the confidence of hiding behind a computer screen, and you get disaster!

Let’s take this offline and see how different it would be…

You’ve just started a new business and you’re super excited about it. Would you go knocking on the doors of ALL (and I mean ALL) of your friends, family and associates” doors to invite them to look at it? No, you wouldn’t. How about an evening out down the pub, you recognise a few faces in there, but you don’t know them really, would you go straight over and invite them to take a look at the business opportunity?
No, once again, this is not what you would do. Why? Because it wouldn’t work!

Let’s take a look at an effective approach to both of these situations…

You’re excited about your new business and the opportunity that comes with it so you tell your close friends and talk about how great it could be for you. With your close friends or family, your excitement for the opportunity alone might be enough to get them to ask to take a look at it. For other friends and family who you don’t see as often and aren’t ask close to, you might wait until you see them at the next family event and they ask how things are before they even find out about your new business and even then, you wouldn’t jump straight in and ask them to take a look, you’d talk about what it’s done for you and your family and ask them questions about themselves which could allow the conversation to naturally lead to you asking them to take a look at the opportunity. However, about with your “friends” down the pub? How could that work?

Well, firstly, now that you’re a network marketing professional, you’re on the lookout for people to get to know and build relationships with so next time you’re down the pub you start to put a name to the faces you know and you say hello, and over time, to start to build a real relationship with this person. Then, when the time is right (either they ask you about your business or they show a sign that it could be good for them – i.e. say things are a bit tight and they could do with earning some extra cash), you simply invite them to take a look. No pressure, no formalities.

So, how does this apply to online and, in particular, social media? Well, it’s all about investing in a person and building a relationship first so don’t jump straight in with the business opportunity. In fact, hold off sharing it and let them ask you to take a look. Start by asking them questions about themselves and getting to know them; choose to engage with people of a similar mindset to you and other successful MLM leaders then comment or message them and tell them what you like about their profile and why you want to get to know them (lead the business out of it). Then, when the time is right the business will naturally come up; either from them asking or through something they say which leads to you saying you might have something that could help them.

If you follow the above tip for prospecting on social media, you’ll soon see huge success! But remember, just because you’ve taken the right approach, it doesn’t mean you’ll only get Yes’s. Network marketing is a numbers game and you will always get a lot more No’s than Yes’s but don’t let that stop you from investing in the relationships and taking the right approach to building a long-term MLM business.

We hope you’ve enjoyed reading this article and are ready to start using social media the right way. Let us know how you get on ?

How to build a successful MLM business in 8 simple steps

Building a business of any kind is tough, and a lot can be learnt through experience, but what if you could learn from others who have ‘been there and done it’? Here, we take our learnings from several successful network marketers and summarise them into 8 simple tips to building a successful MLM business.

1. JOIN A COMPANY WITH PRODUCTS/SERVICES YOU WILL USE, AND YOU BELIEVE IN

When most people see a network marketing business opportunity for the first time, it’s the first time they have been introduced to the MLM industry. With the MLM industry offering significant income potential and the offer of freedom, it’s easy for people to focus on those and believe that the company first exposing them to the industry is the right company for them. It’s rare for a person to go and research other companies in the industry to find the one that offers the products or services it most believes it, but this research will pay off as you will find it much easier sharing products/services and a business opportunity that you are genuinely passionate about.

2. IDENTIFY AND UNDERSTAND WHO YOU ARE TARGETING

The key is in the name – network ‘marketing’. Marketing is a key part of growing any business, and in particular, an MLM business, and marketing is all about delivering the right message, to the right person, at the right time. To achieve this, you must first identify who you are trying to target and understand their behaviours and interests. This means, don’t try to offer everything to everyone, that approach won’t work.

3. SHARE YOUR PRODUCTS/SERVICES AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY EVERY DAY WITHOUT FAIL

This is an obvious one, but it’s extremely common for business owners to focus on either their product/services or the business opportunity and forget about the other. But, to grow large successful MLM business, you need to focus on both, and that means talking about them EVERY DAY!

4. BE GENUINE

Don’t be one of the reasons the industry gets a bad name; be sincere and genuine in everything you do; your approach, the information you give and your personal experiences and results. False claims or exaggerations of any kind will not help you, your business or the industry.

5. DON’T BOMBARD YOUR CONTACTS

Bombarding your contacts will only ruin your chances of them joining the business or buying your products/services. Focus on sharing your successes as well as case studies of your products/services and let your contacts ask you about questions. Create curiosity, and they will ask you to tell them more; far more effective than you forcing it upon them.

6. SET CLEAR GOALS FOR ALL ACTIVITY

Every successful business started with goals, and MLM businesses aren’t any different! Having goals enables you to track progress and hold yourself accountable so make sure you set clear achievable goals for all of your activity; events, prospecting, team trainings, etc…

7. SELL SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS

We understand you’re trying to sell your products and services, but remember to sell them as a solution to a problem. This approach is super affected and, it keeps your conversations with your contacts super relevant. Listening to your contacts’ problems and offering them solutions will make the sales process seem effortless.

8. DEVELOP DUPLICATABLE PROCESSES

The whole MLM industry relies on duplicatable methods so make sure the tactics, tools and processes you use in your business are easily duplicatable so you can train them down as you grow your team.

Hopefully, you’ve found these 8 tips for building a successful network marketing business useful. Please feel free to share them with your friends.

If you’re not doing this, your MLM business will fail!

If you’re in multi-level marketing (MLM), you probably know the name Eric Worre. Eric is ‘the motivational MLM coach’ and is frequently sharing stages with some of the world’s most famous and successful celebrities. Well, in one of his videos, he brings up the quote that “It doesn’t matter what works, it only matters what duplicates”. Eric then goes on to explain that you may be the world’s most skilled networker, being able to network with the president, high-level celebrities etc… however, this is completely irrelevant if your MLM team can’t duplicate these results.

Eric then proceeds to say that a large group of individuals doing something simple is greater than one individual doing something sophisticated. It’s like this, one secret services solider may be more well rounded and well trained than the average military member. If there was a one on one altercation you’d probably pick the secret services individual to win. However, if you added one, two, three more normal soldiers, the odds would quickly turn in favour of the military rather than the special services. This shows the combined efforts of a team rather than the above average efforts of an individual. If you’re a great networker but your ability is down to your natural personality and traits you were born with, its probably best to create an educational programme that can consistently create more good networkers, even if they’re not up to your level. It’s best to have your team take your training and have 80% of your ability. Because a team of 10 people having 80% of a top networker’s ability is worth incredible value.

So, how can you achieve these results that can be duplicated?

EDUCATIONAL CONTENT

Creating content that allows each member of your team to learn the skills and develop their knowledge in the areas they need to. Educational content also allows you to scale up quickly, and scaling up requires minimal time/effort.

TECHNOLOGY

Invest in a good system for managing elements, or all, of your MLM business. A good MLM app will mean you have everything you need in one place, from wherever you are. Even better, get your team to use the same app and your business will multiple. This will allow your team to see exactly what you do and duplicate it themselves, resulting in higher efficiency, faster scaling & more results.

Eric talks about some of the things that MLM business owner’s want, including Freedom & Sustainability. By using the Pamtree MLM App, your team’s activity is all in one place, meaning you can visibly see what’s happening and stay on top of things, identifying and drop in activity that may impact your business in the long-term. This helps to ensure that your MLM business is as sustainable as possible. By teaching your team what you know, you’re ensuring freedom, as they can go and reach new prospects, growing your team and allowing you to focus on your business.

In short, if your team can’t duplicate what you are doing every day, your MLM business isn’t going to work long-term. Make your processes repeatable & ensure your team have the right training and technology to get the results you want.

How to get more leads, for FREE

MLM businesses are businesses where you need leads; it’s quite simple. However, the tricky part is finding them. This blog will take you through a few little hacks on how to find new leads, all for free!

ONE

Add more valuable content to and in your blog. If you’re selling healthcare products, talk about the benefits to the target audience and make suggestions on how to use them in your blogs. Make the blog about something they’ll actually want to read, that way they’ll come back to your site to see if there’s any new content they’ll want to read.

TWO

Build email lists. This is where many businesses, not just in MLM, have started to slack. Building an email list is the most difficult part, once you’ve got one you should work equally as hard to maintain and build on it. It’s one of the most efficient ways to send a direct message to an individual’s private email who’s previously expressed interest! It’s marketing 101 to keep them sweet, send them reminders about new blogs, product offerings etc. But make sure that you’re adding value, don’t just send them sales updates every day and push prospecting down their throat.

THREE

Start posting your blogs and articles on different websites, not just your own. This won’t just open your content up to a new audience, but it’ll also help boost your search engine optimisation (SEO) due to link building. Some websites to post on for extended reach would be all social media sites as well as Reddit, Quora & other websites that share content.

FOUR

Join as many social media networks as possible! You should be joining every MLM group possible. This way you’re engaging immediately with people already in the business, then start posting your content there. Once you join these networks, post, like, share, comment and message. Make your presence known!

FIVE

This one may be slightly more touch and go. But ask those around you for referrals, see if they know anyone who might be interested. We say this is more touch and go because most people don’t like friends or family talking to them about work, especially not trying to sell them a new job! So make sure that you already have a comfortable relationship with the person and make it seem like a conversation, not a pitch! Ask them questions first to find out why the business opportunity might suit them – i.e. if they mention in conversation that they could do with some extra cash, or perhaps they’d say they’re unhappy in their current job.

The Advertising Model MLM Business Owners Are Using To Succeed!

For many entrepreneurs and leading MLM business owners, advertising is a massive part of their day-to-day activities. The forward-thinking network marketers have to check on their current ad’s to make sure the performance is what it should be; they make alternations to keywords and audiences that aren’t performing as expected. It’s very time consuming, however, when you’ve finally tested every segment of your ad (e.g. title, copy, image etc…) and found the perfect recipe, boom! You’ve got digital gold dust! The spend on that ad can be increased and you can sit back and watch it smash your objectives. What a great feeling, months of trial-and-error have now got you to the point of near perfection.

So you’re probably wondering, how can I achieve this? Well, that’s what we’re about to tell you.

THE RIGHT PLATFORM

Finding the right platform is absolutely key to running a successful ad. There’s no point advertising in a gardening magazine if you’re selling protein powder. Just like there’s no point using high-cost methods such as TV for a product/brand with no loyal audience or high profit margins. You have to choose your platforms wisely. If you’re a business-to-business product or service, try LinkedIn or Google Ads. If you’re business to consumer, try Facebook or Instagram; maybe even Google Ad’s. If you’re selling t-shirts with French bulldogs on, Instagram would be the place for you. If you’re trying to get prospects for your MLM, Google Ads might be the best solution as it will target multiple different websites.

TRIAL AND ERROR

You won’t create the perfect ad on your first attempt. It takes time and hours and hours of testing and analysis data to see what performs best, which keywords are most efficient, what title is the most catching, which image draws attention, what copy sells on an emotional level, which call-to-action springs people into the ‘buy now’ gear. We recommend using a budget of around £5 per day whilst you’re testing different segments of your ad’s. This way you’ll get accurate results without using up all your budget. Remember, once you find the perfect ad, you’ll want all the budget you can use! To help find what’s performing best, we recommend split-testing, otherwise known as A/B testing. Split-testing where you create the same ad, but the only difference is the part you’re testing (e.g. if you’re trying to find out which title grabs peoples attention, you’d have two different titles on the A & B ad’s, but everything else would be identical). This way you can really see what’s more effective. For MLM ad’s, the text and description are equally as important as the image, as you’re not selling a product, but a job to a prospect.

SCALE

Once you find the perfect ad, after multiple trial and error periods, scale it up! Get all your ad budget behind it and ride it until the wave dies out, then rinse and repeat (repeat the trial and error period again). For MLM, we’d recommend setting up different ad’s for the different departments of your business; to prospect, try LinkedIn and Google Ads. Trying to sell your products? Instagram & Facebook might be a better fit. If you’re looking to run paid ads, it might be worth seeking the help of a specialist Facebook Ads agency, as they’ll know how to take your business to the next level!

The key message to this blog is that you MUST find the right platform for your business objective. MLM can be extremely competitive, give yourself the edge by selecting the right tools to leverage your time and efforts. You could also run ad’s to promote your social media content. This will grow your business & personal brand, and will ultimately lead to a growth in your following. This will allow more people to see your content and eventually people will start reaching out to you.

How to be a Pro at working while travelling!

In this blog, we share our top 5 tips on how to work while travelling, which is a huge consideration for many MLM business owners as they can be so flexible.

Our first bit of advice is to plan ahead. If you need to update anything that requires an internet connection, then check with your hotels in advance to see if they offer it! If they don’t, check any local bars of restaurants, shopping malls are usually your best bet. And if you’re travelling abroad, check with your phone provider to see whether your data plan can be used or what deals they can offer from roaming.

Remember the time difference! Just last month Pamtree ventured to the other side of the world. Therefore, we were experiencing a 7-8 hour time difference from the UK. This can become extremely problematic if you’re trying to get things done and organise check in’s with busy team members or prospects. Our advice would be to discuss this with all your team before you leave and then set times to catch up which are convenient for both of you.

Do not call your team! If you’re abroad and your phone contract doesn’t include the country you’re visiting within your calls, then don’t call! This is an easy way to rack up a £1,000+ bill! Simply, use email or Wifi calls using WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. But if you’re going to use any internet-based calling apps then make sure you’re connected to Wifi and you’re not using your 4G! That’s another easy way to get a £1,000+ phone bill!

If you’re using any transportation that’s longer than half an hour and can allow you to whip out your phone or laptop, do it! Start getting some work done. This can be while waiting for a plane, train, taxi or even a boat! Just make sure that you feel safe enough to get out any equipment that’s expensive, like laptops and mobile phones, not all countries are as safe as the UK!

Take a battery pack that’s fully charged. I’m not sure if you can get these for laptops, but you certainly can for your phone/tablet. It means you can work on from your phone while travelling and have the comfort of knowing that as soon as it dies, you can fully charge it again. Little things like these just allow you to get those small tasks completed and still enjoy your trip of a lifetime!

We hope you’ve found this top tips for travelling while you work your MLM business useful. Please feel free to share any other tips you may have. We’d love to hear them.

How to master productivity whilst working from home!

So as many people will experience when working from home, you can easily lose motivation and concentration. It just happens! With no boss standing over you from 9-5pm, you can very quickly find out that you simply don’t need to work those long hours anymore. If you can be productive and get all the work done in three hours, then so be it! So, here are our five tips for staying as productive as possible and crushing your workday into less time!

1) WHENEVER YOU FIND YOURSELF DRIFTING AWAY FROM YOUR WORK, GO FOR A WALK.

A lot of people recommend walking for about 10 minutes during this instance, but we recommend going for about 20-30. This allows you to leave your negative thoughts behind, get the endorphins running and come back to your tasks and truly crush it!

2) FIND YOUR MOST PRODUCTIVE TIME!

This one is from the author of the four-hour workweek, Tim Ferris. Not everyone is most productive during those 9-5 hours, that’s just the norm that’s been dictated to the workforce. You might find that you can really focus and smash out some work around 8-11 in the evening, maybe its 6-9 in the morning; whatever it is, find what makes you feel most comfortable and go with it. If it doesn’t work, simply go back to your original hours.

3) EAT A HEALTHY DIET, MAKE SURE THAT YOU’RE GETTING A BARE MINIMUM OF FIVE FRUIT AND VEG SERVINGS PER DAY!

You’ve heard the saying, your body is a machine, and it can’t run on junk food. Make sure that you’re staying hydrated and you’re not consuming too many sugary foods that give you a sugar rush and cause you to lose concentration.

4) GET ENOUGH SLEEP!

There is absolutely no doubt that you are less effective when you are tired, you just can’t seem to concentrate on any task! Make sure that you’re getting about 7 – 8 hours as recommended by doctors worldwide.

5) EXERCISE!

Just like we mentioned earlier when we suggested taking a long walk, workout for a minimum of three sessions per week, whether that’s at home or at the gym. If you can’t lift weights then simply hop on a running machine or a bike; or maybe just got for a walk, it’s all good for you! This, along with the increased sleep and heather diet, will be sure to make sure that your working from home productivity increases!

We hope you give these tips a go – you really will notice a difference. Be sure to let us know how you get on.

How MLM is helping Mumtrepreneurs

So in the last couple of blogs, we’ve spoken about Mumtrepreneurs quite a bit. We don’t discriminate, so this applies for Dadtrepreneurs too! We’ve covered a few things as to how to get started and a few other basics. In this blog, we want to talk you through the benefits of becoming your own boss & how the MLM industry is helping to create the Mumtrepreneurs of tomorrow.

Let us start with the flexibility; you have kids, that’s a full-time job in itself. Therefore you’re going to have to work very non-traditional hours, and those hours may change every single day! Running an MLM business allows you to simply flip the switch on your computer (or app!) and start working whenever you have the opportunity! Although, we don’t recommend calling or emailing any prospects or leads at midnight.

The second reason is the pride you can take in your job. If you’ve ever worked a full-time or even part-time position for someone else’s business, then you know what we’re talking about here. You still take pride in your work, but at the end of the day what you’re creating isn’t yours. You don’t own it, and unless you’re the CEO or in an equally important position, you probably don’t have a great deal of influence on it either. If you own your own MLM business you could take pride in the fact that every decision you make is your own, the whole direction and culture of your MLM team comes down to what you create, it’s like having another child. However, this child pays you rather than you paying it!

The third and final reason is this; everyone has had the idea of starting their own business at one time or another, everybody. MLM businesses have an 80%, yes 80%, higher chance rate of being successful. As long as you put in the work and study and constantly make it a point to improve, you can become part of this statistic, whilst looking after your busy family life, whilst still enjoying down time with your friends, whilst still keeping fit and healthy, because a healthy body is a healthy mind, obviously…

So, if you still need more reasons as to why you should become a winner, a real Mumtrepreneur, or Dadtrepreneur!, then know this: the average MLM who does it full-time earns 55,000 US dollars per year, yes that’s 55,000! That’s a staggering amount when you weigh in all the benefits and advantages. Imagine your current job paying you that and letting you work where you want and when you want? It doesn’t seem too likely, does it?

Hopefully, you’ve enjoyed the blog. Please leave any feedback you have below.
